Today is Celebrate the Small Things Friday. Hosted by Lexa Cain, L.G. Keltner of Writing Off the Edge, and Tonja Drecker of Kidbits, Celebrate the Small Things is a time when we all take a moment to celebrate something good from our week. It can be small, it can be big, just something to look back on the week and celebrate!
It has been a long challenging week but I'm here and I'm making every effort to make sure that despite the downs I keep looking for the ups, no matter how small.
This quote sums up the week :
“This is a moment of suffering. Suffering is part of life.
May I be kind to myself in this moment. May I give myself the compassion I need.”
- Kristin Neff
So in between reminding myself to keep the channels of compassion open to myself I have much to be grateful for:
Have a blessed weekend all and keep looking for those gratitudes!
Love Always

So in between reminding myself to keep the channels of compassion open to myself I have much to be grateful for:
- Celebrating a friends birthday last Saturday and the opportunity to catch up for old friends
- Seeing a special friend twice in one week!
- Seeing another special friend, who despite her pain, popped past the office to drop off flowers for me and check how I was doing.
- A beautiful card and a reminder that "Today is a new day" from my beautiful Pillar Sisterhood
- Starting to make peace with decisions I didn't necessarily want but which also won't end me
Have a blessed weekend all and keep looking for those gratitudes!
Love Always
To be part of this blog hop, all you have to do is put your name on the linky list on Lexa’s Blog, and then post every Friday about something you’re grateful for that week. It can be about writing or family or school or general life. This is the funnest and easiest blog hop ever! (Originated by VikLit)
