Writing is a cathartic exercise for me and in many ways it has replaced the role that photography had in my life when it came to expressing my feelings. At one stage photographs were my only means of communication, the only way I could express what my deepest inner soul was feeling. Over time I began to feel comfortable and put those thoughts onto paper using different forms of poetry and journalling to do so. It is still not always the most comfortable route to take but I know there is a story inside of me waiting to be told...
You reach a point of accepting that you made mistakes,
they cost you dearly and that you can't change the past.
At that point you stop raging against your history,
and move forward
into a calmer, less self destructive frame of mind.
