How often, as photographers, do we drive or walk past a scene on a daily and promise ourselves the we will go back and shoot that scene...
This spot is 50m from my home.. I have driven through this patch of trees every day for nearly 4 years... The area I live in is known for its hectic mist and I have so many times said "I must come back with my camera" - well yesterday I simply pulled over and decided I was taking the shot..
I was fortunate, as a "photographer" to have someone walking past and so give some added depth to my photo. But for me it was simply the beauty of the trees, the mist and the quiet that made the moment and the shot for me...
We need more quiet times to simply reflect, enjoy and appreciate that which surrounds us each day. Take time every day to just stop, breath and enjoy and find those little moments of joy that will replenish your soul.
