Mondays will be about Mindfulness. Yes I know I'm behind with the times. When I decided I'd do Mindful Mondays and I Goggled to see if I could find any appropriate images of course it threw out the hundreds at me because it is so 'popular' (and made me decide to go with one of my own images). I'm not doing this for popularity! Mindfulness is not easy. And trust me I am not the world's most patient person so this shit is hard. The last few days have had me practising mindfulness in real and conscious ways and at times the thought 'orange and stripes may suit you' does cross my mind!
But I'm getting better. Mindful is my word for 2015 (see link below for more) so I am going to talk about how I incorporate it in my life, what it means to me and maybe help another on their journey.
The first piece of mindful insight I'll leave you with is this :
Breathe - I have learnt it is the key to everything.
I have a habit of letting everything get on top of me and I forget to catch my breath. I'm learning to stop, take a breath, an another, and another, until I've focused on that and from there I am able to be logical, present and reasonable. So start your mindful journey with your breathing. Be aware of it coming into your body and out again.
Just breathe. The rest will fall into place.
