We so often in the hustle and bustle of daily life forget to listen to the messages our bodies are sending us. The ones that are telling us to slow down, breathe, eat properly, drink water, sleep.
Part of my mindful journey this year was to ensure I was NOURISHED mentally, emotionally and physically.
I've been doing okay on the first two and totally ignored the third... and am now looking down the path of fibromyalgia.
So time for me to step up the NOURISHMENT OF THE PHYSICAL - sleep, exercise, water, healthy food.
We only have this body - we can do as much emotional and mental work as we want but if we allow the physical body to collapse it will all be for nothing. Our physical bodies will house our souls as long as nourish her.
So spend some time this week listening mindfully for those messages from your body and heeding them.
Rest, eat well, exercise, drink water.
