(and apps for men's survival!)
A young 20 year old girl lost her life this week but she also inspired thousands of people to become organ donors and give the gift of life. Jenna Lowe's legacy is one that will keep giving back. Her work resulted in double the amount of people registering as organ donors over the same period as last year. Well done on her for motivating people to consider the gift of life.
May she rest in peace. Her life was not in vain.
Seriously!? Note to humanity - women have been able to track their cycles quite fine for the last few dozen millennia!! Are our lives destined to be controlled by our smartphones as more and more apps are brought out for every facet of our existence? Count the days yourself and put the damn phones away - and men - don't ask - it's tantamount to the 'How far along are you" question... it will be at your own peril...
I know I'm a cellphone junkie but even I have my limits and this is starting to reach it!
My heart breaks but this girl is tough and she's fighting to survive. Follow her story via the link below.

We have high profile cases such as Oscar Pistorius, Shrien Dewani and Christopher Panayiotou... Pistorius will have served less than a year behind bars if paroled in August, Dewani walked out a free man after the State's case fell apart and given our justice system and mishandling of evidence I doubt Jayde Panayiotou will see justice either.
It is no wonder women have little faith in the very institutions that are supposed to protect them. And until those institutions catch a wake up women stand little chance in this battle.
